In November of 2018, Texas Governor Greg Abbott selected Carmen as the person with the integrity, experience and commitment to serve you on the bench of the 51st Judicial District Court.
Dusek, a Republican, has many years of experience as a courtroom lawyer and has proven effective on the court. Many have noted her courtroom skills, including Texas Monthly which named her as a Texas Rising Star.
